We conduct anonymous polls with wireless keypads. The entire group sees aggregate results immediately. Seeing a snapshot of everyone's opinions opens up essential discussion about areas of agreement and disagreement. Conversations get to the point twice as quickly as with traditional facilitation techniques alone. Polling also helps you objectively assess buy-in and secure commitment for action plans.
Everyone's voice is heard. The experience is personal, no matter how large the group.

How it works
- At the beginning of the meeting, each participant receives a handheld wireless keypad (see right).
- Each question or prompt appears on a PowerPoint slide with numbered response options
(see an example).
- Participants respond to the question or prompt by pressing the numbered
button on their keypad that corresponds to
their chosen response on the PowerPoint slide.
- Once all participants have responded, a bar graph or pie chart (as appropriate) immediately appears
with the results (see an example).

"The in-room polling was a valuable component of the meeting. The anonymity of the voting keypads allowed us to be open and honest with our feedback without feeling vulnerable or influenced by others. We were then able speak more freely and constructively during the group discussions that followed since we had already shared our 'strongest' opinions through anonymous polling. As a result, everyone was eager to participate and the instantaneous results kept us even more involved and interested throughout the day."
